Garage Sale at the Gale Helps Kids Stay Active

June 27, 2018 0 Comments

Niagara Falls’ community garage sale raised more than $1,800 on Saturday, June 23 to help local children to stay healthy and active — and that was before a single vintage board game or hand-made craft had been sold.

Dozens of vendors paid between $20 and $40 for a spot in the parking lot at Gale Centre to sell their wares during the annual Garage Sale at the Gale.

Funds raised from vendor bookings benefited the city’s Activity Subsidy Fund.

The event is organized by the City’s Parks and Recreation Committee, to which Chris Dabrowski is a volunteer member.
