It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s the first-ever SuperKids March to benefit Community Crew.
On Saturday September 22nd, children from across the Niagara Region are invited to dress in their favorite Super Hero Costume and come march at Oakes Park to help raise awareness & funds for Community Crew.
Local entrepreneur, Chris Dabrowski, who helped come up with the idea for the March and is volunteering his time to co-organize the event is excited to see the program expand into Niagara Falls.
“I’m proud to partner with such an amazing organization and an event which is all about kids helping kids. Not only do I see this event being an annual tradition in raising funds for a great cause, but I see further reach into additional schools across Niagara, including right here in Niagara Falls,” said Dabrowski. “No child should go hungry,” he added.
The event will take place at the Oakes Park track and surrounding field, and will feature Superheroes, Vendors, FoodTrucks and exhibits like a replica of the Time Machine from Back to the Future. The Superhero March will begin at 11am, with free family activities to follow until 1pm.
Registration for the event is free and all children are encouraged to collect pledges and donations for Community Crew.
